Vice Chairman

Mr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed (Pavel) is the First Vice-President of Bangladesh Insurance Association for the period 2023-2025. Mr. Ahmed is the Vice-Chairman of Meghna Life Insurance, Karnaphuli Insurance & Chairman of Meghna Life Securities & Investment as well. Beside, he is one of the Directors of Nizam Hasina Foundation and Nizam Hasina Foundation Hospital. He is also member of Board of Governors of Bangladesh Insurance Academy. He took various training on insurance from different institutions and participated in different seminars home & abroad. He has been working in different Committees formed by Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance, Insurance Development & Regulatory Authority (IDRA) and Bangladesh Insurance Association, Apex Body of Insurance Companies for the development of Insurance sector for the last decade. At present he is the Member of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FBCCI) and acted as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Insurance. Being the representatives of FBCCI, he visited many countries like Japan, Hongkong, Taiwan, China, Oman, Russia, Ukraine, Philippines and many others. He is a Rotarian (PHF) of Rotary Club of Midtown. He Completed BBA from North South University, Dhaka. He is happily married and a proud father of one son and daughter.

Mr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed the Vice-Chairman of Karnaphuli Insurance Company Ltd. He was born in October, 1975 in a respectable Muslim family. He has obtained his BBA Degree from North South University in 1999. A visionary entrepreneur Mr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed is also a Vice-Chairman of Meghna Life Insurance Company Ltd. & a Director of Nizam Hasina Welfare Foundation. He is also Chairman of Meghna Life Securities & Investment Ltd. He has been elected as First Vice President of Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA). He attended various training, seminars & conferences in Bangladesh as well as in abroad like U.K, USA. Australia, E-U Countries, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore etc. and thus he enriched his knowledge what he optimized best in the fields he involved with.
